Rai has gone crazy...er...crazier...
After watching tonight's SV ep, I now have this insane urge to read Clark/Pete slash. Anybody know of any?
Finally we get a good look inside Pete. He now seems real to me, rather than just 'Pete, Clark's other best friend'. It's probably just me, but even though I've seen every ep of SV, it wasn't till now that I could see the inner workings of Pete's psyche. And I tell you, Sam Jones III impressed me very much with his performance.
Did anyone else feel the urge to smack Clark upside his head and say, "Hello?! You have a billionaire for a best friend, ask him! Duh." *looks around* No? Just me? *sighs* Thought so. lol
Raise your hand if you ever thought that Clark would have the nerve to steal Lex's porche. And Lex so knows that Clark did it.
So...that's my two cents on SV.
On to Angel...
Spike as a 'Nazi'? Very hilarious. I loved the scenes on the sub with Spike. I miss that Spike. Not that I don't like souled Spike, but he's not as 'free' as he was then. Now he seems weighed down by his soul. Not as bad as Angel, per se, but still...am I making any sense? *shakes head*
I had no idea that Angel had any Childer, let alone a Childe he sired after he had his soul. Did anyone else know this? Or am I the only one?
Even my dad enjoyed this ep. He was in the Navy during WWII. He liked the flashbacks. lol
See? This is why I don't usually do episode reviews. I'm not very articulate about it.
And...
I swear to God, this is like crack now.
Thanks to
xnitelite suggesting that Clark was a Taurus.
Taken from Earth Medicine by Kenneth Meadows:
Birth and Animal Totem - Beaver (Taurus)
Birth dates - 20 April - 20 May
Predominent Element - Earth with Fire
Mineral Totem - Jasper bloodstone
Personality - determined, resourceful, opinionated, methodical
Feelings - Highly strung
Intention - Possession
Nature - Industrious
Positive traits - pracitical, reliable, patient, businesslike, persistent, determined, strong-willed, affectionate.
Negative traits - possessive, lazy, self-indulgent, inflexible, stubborn, resentful.
Concious aim - Security through possession.
Subconcious desire - Freedom from attachements.
Life-path - To discover and possess that which has lasting value.
Clark is a Taurus, which is an earth sign. His birthday is May 2nd. Birthstones are (modern & traditional, mystic, starsign, other): emerald, sapphire, agate, chrysophrase, beryl.
Positive traits = Clark/Superman
Negative traits = Kal
IMO anyway. *winks*
The most surreal part of figuring out Clark's birthdate, besides the fact that his main birthstone is a green rock? On the medicine wheel in the Earth Medicine book, Clark and Lex sit on exact opposites. They are each others polarity totems. They are meant to balance each other. Does that give anyone else chills?
Martha - Cancer; Lana - Libra; Lucas - Saggitarius. If you guys want a full breakdown like I did for Lex, Chloe and Clark, let me know. I could even do Pete and Jonathan. *pauses* See? Crack.
